Can the wire be welded directly to the PCB circuit board without a joint?

The actual fixed PCB space is limited (the PCB is fixed inside the equipment), and the network cable needs to be led to the outside. At present, the RJ45 seat does not want to be placed on the PCB, because the network cable takes up too much space after the crystal head is plugged in. Therefore, I would like to use connectors or terminals to replace the RJ45 seat (after inserting the network cable to the circuit board), or the network cable is directly welded to the PCB, would you like to ask if there is any experience in this area can be exchanged, is this feasible? Or if there are any good suggestions and solutions that can be used for reference.
Thank you!
