Simple PNP Question - Advice sought
2000 1 Dec 03.2019, 14:43:47

I'm involved in very small scale manufacture of products that are entirely analogue... SMT involves mostly 1206 size passives, and nothing really challenging in terms of actives. ICs are typically just opamp packages, a few static logic parts in TSSOP14 and a few SOT-23 transistors.
I don't need high speed, 500 - 1000 parts per hour is ample.
Do I need vision? I'm thinking one of the lower end machines with laser positioning might handle all of this?
Advice please?

you will need vision for sure.
Without vision its just guessing.
In the beginning I worked without vision to get higher speed, but this was really frustrating.
Now I use vision for every part and the placement quality is near 100%
