First experiments and fails with a laser-cut stencil

Hi Everyone,
I've been always assembling my PCBs manually but now I deal with a design for friends which I need to duplicate multiple times. That's having said, I am dealing with a laser-cut stencil for the first time in my life. I don't expect that this is going to work without any practice but I would appreciate comments from somebody with more experience.
I use ChipQuick SMD291AX50T3 solder paste and 0.12mm thick stencil. I soldered the board with hot air set to 280°C.
It seems to me that I have too much paste on the PCB.
Do I apply too much pressure?
Should I keep the paste cold (right out of the fridge)?
Do I expect too much?
Thanks for any tips.

Yes, it looks it was a little bit too much solder paste.
Was there any pad size reduction?
Additionally, it is important that there is no gap between the stencil and the pc board / your green pc board holder.
