Depends on the part.

Discrete parts like resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, diodes, etc are pretty easy to solder by hand, with a fine-tipped soldering iron and tweezers. You’ll also need fine solder wire.

Working under a microscope (binocular ones) will help a lot.

Integrated circuits with actual pins can also be done in the same way.

Some ICs without pins can be done by hand too, if you can see the IC’s pads from the side (under a microscope).

You’ll need to fill the PCB pads with solder first and one at a time heat it with your soldering iron while pressing the IC onto it. After that you have to remove excess solder with fine solder wick.

It is tricky, but I used to be able to do it.

ICs that you can’t see the IC pads from the side (BGAs etc) can’t be done without proper tools/machinery.
